Short answer
Import a product feed that meets OpenAI's spec, create a campaign with the Product feed type, give each ad group a feed and product filters, choose an ad template, and submit. Product feed campaigns support country-level targeting only, use Maximize results by default, and can't be created by bulk upload.
Steps
- Import your feed (CSV/TXT upload, hosted URL or SFTP) and wait for processing
- In Campaigns, choose the Product feed campaign type
- Set objective, budget, dates and countries
- In each ad group, select the feed and apply product filters; check the product count
- Select the ad template image field and preview titles and descriptions
- Check landing pages, bids and targeting, then submit for review
What the ad shows
Product ads show product images, titles, rating stars, prices, sale prices and brand. Multi-product carousels were added in August 2026.
Limits
- Country-level targeting and exclusions only
- No bulk upload creation
- Conversions objective can't be set via bulk upload for feed campaigns
- One non-archived template per ad group

Not during the beta: OpenAI says feed products are eligible for ads only.
