OpenAI prohibits ads for adult content (including dating apps), alcohol above 0.5% ABV, tobacco and nicotine, counterfeit goods, gambling, graphic sexual or violent content, political content, recreational drugs, scams and impersonation, and sensitive topics such as abortion, immigration, race, religion or gender identity.
Narrow exceptions
- Casino resorts for lodging, travel or entertainment where gambling isn't the focus
- Games without real-money wagering
- Incidental alcohol references
- Lingerie and swimwear in a standard retail context
- Non-intoxicating hemp (THC-free CBD) not promoted for intoxication
- Age-restricted entertainment with non-explicit creative
