Domain not approved

By the Answerbid teamVerified 12 October 20262 min read

Short answer

"Domain not approved" means OpenAI couldn't verify that your advertiser identity matches the domain you entered. Make sure the business name, website and landing pages belong to the same entity, then appeal through the rejection email or contact support if no appeal is offered.

Typical causes

  • Advertising a reseller's or partner's domain
  • A new domain with no company information
  • Landing pages on a different domain from the account website
  • Typosquat-like domains (prohibited)

Fix

  1. Use your own domain consistently
  2. Add a clear About and contact page with the legal name
  3. Appeal with evidence of ownership
