Short answer
A daily budget is an average over a seven-day budget week. Spend can reach twice the daily budget on one day and seven times over the Sunday-to-Saturday week. A $100 daily budget can spend up to $200 on a day and $700 in the week.
The rules
| Rule | Example with $100/day |
|---|---|
| Maximum on one day | $200 |
| Maximum per budget week | $700 |
| Raised mid-day to $110 | Up to $220 that day |
| Changed mid-week | Weekly cap prorated to next Sunday midnight |
Consequences
- Unused budget can be spent later in the same week
- If the weekly allowance is used early, delivery can stop until Sunday even while the campaign shows active
- The budget week follows the account time zone
