Short answer
The Ads Manager plugin connects ChatGPT or Codex to the ad accounts you can access. It can draft and preview ads (up to 50 standard variants per request), build product feed campaigns, change settings after you confirm, report performance and troubleshoot delivery read-only. It can't handle billing, appeals or revenue reporting.
What it does
- Drafts titles and descriptions from a website or brief and previews ads before upload
- Creates campaigns and ad groups, pauses, activates and archives resources
- Reports impressions, clicks, spend, CTR, CPC, CPM and attributed conversions; defaults to the last 7 completed days
- Gives one-off or scheduled daily or weekly reviews, which never change the account
- Traces delivery problems and proposes a recovery plan (read-only)
Guardrails
- Every upload or change needs your confirmation of the exact action
- Access is limited to your user's role
- It can't override verification, policy review or delivery
Limits
- Billing, payment, tax, legal identity and appeals stay in Ads Manager
- No conversion value, so no revenue or ROAS
- Raw conversion diagnostics cover only the latest 50 events from the last 15 minutes
- Product feed ad groups support one non-archived template
Questions
Does it write ads automatically?
