OpenAI lists 63 countries where self-serve Ads Manager is available, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, most of the EU (including Poland, Germany and France), India, Japan, Korea, Brazil and Mexico. What the rules mean
- Your company's country counts, not where you want to advertise. The billed legal entity must be based in a listed country
- Account creation is separate from access. You can sign up from elsewhere and be notified when your country opens
- New accounts start at home. New self-serve accounts may advertise only in their home country until identity verification is approved and they have spent enough there
- Big advertisers can go through OpenAI's sales team, agencies or technology partners
Where ads are shown
Advertiser availability and user availability are different lists. Ads are shown to eligible Free and Go users in markets where OpenAI serves ads; OpenAI described more than 60 countries by late September 2026.
Questions
We are a Polish company selling in the US. Can we advertise there?
Poland is a listed country, so you can open a self-serve account. Expect to start in Poland only; other countries unlock after verification and enough home-country spend.
Will the list change?
Yes. OpenAI updates its availability article as it opens markets. Check it before planning a launch.
