Short answer
Companies synced is how many ICP companies are in your LinkedIn audience. Match rate is the share LinkedIn matched. Impressions and clicks per company come from LinkedIn’s company-level reporting, which is approximate, drops companies with fewer than 3 events and arrives 12–24 hours late. Return visits are synced companies that came back to your site. Engaged accounts clicked, followed or engaged.
The numbers
| Number | Meaning | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Companies synced | ICP companies in your LinkedIn company list | AnswerBid |
| Match rate | Share of those LinkedIn matched to company pages | |
| Impressions, clicks per company | LinkedIn ad delivery at each company | LinkedIn company-level reporting |
| Return visits | Synced companies identified on your site again | Visitor identification |

Why the numbers are approximate
- LinkedIn returns company values only above 3 events, and only the top 100 per creative per day.
- Company metrics are approximate to protect member privacy, and arrive 12–24 hours late.
- Company results can include companies you didn’t target.

Questions
Why is a company we targeted missing from the table?
It had fewer than 3 events in the period, so LinkedIn didn’t return it, or LinkedIn hasn’t matched it yet.
Can we see which person engaged?
No. LinkedIn reports by company, never by person.
