Campaign start and end dates explained

By the Answerbid teamVerified 12 October 20262 min read

Short answer

Start and end dates control when ads may run. On your first campaign the date fields may not appear until after publishing, so don't publish early just to reach them. In bulk upload, dates are YYYY-MM-DD at 00:00 UTC and the end date is exclusive.

Rules

  • Ads deliver only after review approval, and only if account, billing, budget and schedule allow
  • An end date aligns budget pacing with your plan; without one, a campaign total budget paces over 60 days
  • In bulk upload, to run through 10 October set the end date to 11 October

Tips

  • Allow time for review before an important launch date
  • Leave room after promotions end so data can settle
  • Check the account time zone; it decides when "today" starts

Questions

Why did my campaign stop before the end date?

Common reasons: campaign total spent, weekly allowance used early, payment failed, or ads paused or rejected.
