Why spend and conversions show up late

By the Answerbid teamVerified 12 October 20262 min read

Short answer

Impressions, clicks and CTR refresh about every 15 minutes. Spend lags about 7–8 hours, so you can see clicks with $0 spend. Average CPC and CPM update once spend settles, and attributed conversions take 24–48 hours. Recent totals can still change.

Timing table

MetricTypical delay
Impressions, clicks, CTR~15 minutes
Spend~7–8 hours
Average CPC and CPMAfter spend settles
Attributed conversions24–48 hours
Product rows (feeds)Up to 7 hours after first delivery

Practical rule

Make budget and bid decisions on yesterday's data or older, not on today's.

Questions

Does $0 spend mean we weren't charged?

No. OpenAI says a displayed $0 doesn't necessarily mean no charges have accrued.
