Short answer
Good AI B2B ads answer the buyer’s next question, not the category. Each example below starts from a question a buyer might ask ChatGPT, then gives a title within the recommended 16–24 characters, one line of copy with a concrete proof point, and a landing page that continues the same conversation. The companies are fictional and the ads illustrative; the structure is what we use for clients.
What makes a good AI B2B ad
- Specific to the situation: company size, stack, industry or region from the question.
- One claim, one proof: a number, a certification, an integration, a time.
- Short: ChatGPT recommends titles of 16–24 characters (50 maximum) and copy of 32–48 (100 maximum).
- Not imitating ChatGPT: OpenAI’s policies forbid ads that look like the assistant’s own answer.
- A page that continues the conversation, never the homepage.

| Vendor | Fit | The integration, size or industry proof |
| Decision | Confidence | Pricing, security, set-up time, references |
How to test creative
- Two or three ads per ad group, different angles (proof, price, speed).
- Judge after enough clicks to compare, on identified fitting companies as well as CTR.
- Replace the weakest each month; keep the winner as the control.

Questions
Can AI B2B ads mention competitors?
Comparison context is fine in your context hints, but claims in the ad must be accurate and supportable. OpenAI’s ad policies restrict misleading comparative claims.
Should every ad have a price?
Only for decision-stage questions, where price is the next thing the buyer wants. Earlier stages respond better to fit and proof.
Do images matter in ChatGPT ads?
Yes, as support. Use a simple square image that matches the message: a product screen or an integration logo pair works well for B2B.
